Whether you are a stay-at-home mom or work outside the home, the crock pot is truly a mom's best friend in the kitchen. I used it at least several times per month a couple of years ago and then it became less frequent. Well, this year the crock pot is coming out of retirement!

Save leftovers! Leftovers can often be frozen to make into delicious new meals at a later date. One of my most favorite dinners is good old spaghetti with homemade meatballs. I don't always have the time to make the meatballs, and now Prego has solved the problem for me! I have long been a faithful buyer of the Prego brand of spaghetti sauce, and I love their version with Italian sausage. When I saw this "Prego Meat Sauce Mini-Meatball" version at WalMart, for only $1.33, I stocked up, and boy am I glad I did!

Plan breakfast the night before. Even setting out the boxes of cereal and bowls can give you a few extra minutes in the morning. You can do so many things for breakfast if you take a minute the night before.
